* Tiberius expels the Egyptians from Rome, and deports 4,000 Jews from Sicily.
* Agrippina the Elder accuses Gnaeus Calpurnius Piso, governor of Syria, of having assassinated her husband Germanicus in Antioch. Piso commits suicide in Rome.
